Scott Dresner possesses the rare combination of expertise in both construction and design. At just 20 years old, he launched his cabinetry company from his garage and quickly transformed it into a multi-million-dollar enterprise. What began with two employees grew to a thriving operation of over 70, leading Scott to design and build a state-of-the-art, 15,000-square-foot, fully automated cabinet factory—one of the largest in Metropolitan Detroit. Remarkably, he achieved this milestone before turning 26. His unwavering passion, dedication, and expertise have kept him at the forefront of the cabinetry industry for over 40 years.
After selling his business in 1997, Scott turned his attention to the international market, where he developed a deep appreciation for Italian cabinetry. His passion led him to become the exclusive U.S. distributor for one of Italy’s largest cabinetry manufacturers, pioneering the introduction of high-end, yet accessible, Italian cabinetry to the American market.
Scott’s affinity for design and construction runs in his blood. As the nephew of fashion icon Linda Dresner and renowned real estate developer Milton Dresner, he was immersed in the world of aesthetics and functionality from an early age. “They taught me the importance of design, function, and quality—how to blend all three seamlessly in both life and business,” Scott says. “Design has always been second nature to me.”
With over 40 years in the cabinetry industry, Scott has designed and installed more than 12,000 kitchens and baths across the country. His expertise spans multi-unit developments, luxury residences, celebrity homes, commercial office spaces, and high-end retail environments. His deep understanding of construction, combined with an exceptional eye for design, allows him to create elegant, functional spaces that stand out in today’s market.
A licensed builder for over 40 years, Scott holds certifications in Michigan, Chicago, and Florida. His expertise extends across both residential and commercial construction, making him a highly sought-after leader in renovation and design.
