Multifunctional Spaces
Function is key, especially when it comes to a high-traffic space like the kitchen. That’s why we’ve seen a trend towards making parts of your kitchen serve double duty, like this desk in our Huron Kitchen which has a sliding door that closes to hide your laptop, paperwork, and any other kitchen clutter, keeping your kitchen – and your mind – in order.
Bold Color
Another trend we are seeing is bright, bold colors in the home – especially the kitchen. Color is the easiest way to add some personality into your home and liven up any space. Bold colors can be intimidating, but the key is balance.
We paired our blue kitchens with light, natural wood elements to balance out the color.
This laundry room/office combo we designed in Highland Park packs a serious punch. The red gloss lacquer cabinets with aluminum edging are from Stosa Cucine. The red really pops against the stained concrete floors and white formica countertops.
Be bold. Try adding some color into your home!
